Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluations
Everything starts with a full psychiatric evaluation. This is a real conversation, not a checklist. I take time to understand your history, what you’re going through, and what you’ve already tried.
We look at:
- Your current symptoms and concerns
- Past diagnoses and treatment experiences
- Medical and family history
- Life stressors, sleep, support system, and coping mechanisms
This is about understanding your story and finding a path forward that fits your life.

— Support When Needed
You’ve Been Holding It Together for Everyone Else. But Inside, You’re Struggling.
You’re doing all the things you’re supposed to. Showing up at work. Taking care of your people. From the outside, it probably looks like you’ve got it together. But the truth is, your anxiety feels like it’s getting worse. Or you’ve been feeling low for a while now and nothing is helping. Maybe you’re up all night worrying, or feeling completely shut down and numb. O maybe a bit of both.
Does this sound familiar?
- You can’t fall asleep or stay asleep, no matter what you do.
- You feel guilty for being “lazy,” but can’t find the energy to act.
- Panic hits suddenly, leaving you feeling out of control and lost.
- You worry about everything, constantly, with no end in sight.
- You’re ashamed to ask for help, fearing this is how it will stay.

My Name is Lauren, and I Listen to Understand
I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner licensed in the state of New York. I specialize in treating those who suffer in plain sight, with feelings of sadness, not enjoying things the way you used to. Those who suffer from mood swings, anxiety, intrusive thoughts and compulsions, and difficulty sleeping.
Here is what working with me looks like
- A full hour is set aside for our first appointment, and 30 minutes for all follow-ups
- I listen to your story, not your symptoms.
- If medication makes sense, we talk through options, and move at your pace.
You are not a diagnosis, you are human. And together, we will create a plan using a holistic approach.
What Client Have to Say...
I’m proud of the positive impact I’ve had on my clients’ lives, helping them feel heard and supported. Here’s what they’ve had to say about their experience working together:
— Change Starts Now
What Happens If You Don’t Reach Out For Help and Support
If nothing changes, nothing changes. The anxiety, low mood, or racing thoughts won't simply disappear. They start to affect how you show up at work, with your family, and in your relationship with yourself. It gets harder to remember what it felt like to simply feel content, or even happy. Over time, these feelings can deepen, leading to more isolation and a growing sense of hopelessness.
But it doesn't have to stay this way. When you get the care and support that feels right to you, things will begin to shift. You can sleep. You can focus. You can stop "spiraling". You can stop blaming yourself for how hard it's been, or why didn't reach out for help sooner. With the right care, you can feel grounded and start living in a way that feels true to who you are.
Let’s Talk About What’s Actually Going On
You don’t have to figure it all out before reaching out. You don’t have to know exactly what you need. That’s what I’m here for.
